Besides being one of the most acclaimed artists of the new contemporary art movement, his work can be seen on walls, galleries and museums all around the world. Saner has participated in several solo shows and group exhibitions, including his debut in one of the most important galleries in New York City: Jonathan Levine Gallery, as well as his exhibition at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de San Luis Potosi in Mexico.
For this project Magic Gardens worked with the City of Philadelphia and its Mural Arts Program. Saner painted a permanent public mural in the Northern Liberties neighborhood and he transformed the space into a ‘mythological playground’ full in color and Mexican traditions.
“Fragments of the Soul” presents illustrations, video projections and paintings created with reclaimed materials. In words of Saner this exhibition “explores what is behind us in our lives and exposes those little secret parts we have in our souls.”
Here is a video of Saner work in progress and make sure to see more photos below.
