London Art Fair opens today and will showcase the most exceptional modern and contemporary art of our time.
To enable engagement with art, the fair continues to provide access to talks, tours, screenings and curated spaces, which include Photo50, their annual exhibition of contemporary photography; Art Projects, which features large-scale installations, solo shows and group displays; and – within Art Projects– Dialogues, a guest-curated section of Art Projects intended to encourage and foster relationships between home and abroad, Art Projects Screening Room, an accompanying programme of collaborative film and new media initiatives, and Platform, a new feature focusing on a single distinct theme every year.
London Art Fair is an unmissable opening to the international art calendar, with the next edition taking place from 16-20 January 2019 (Preview Evening 15 January).
For this year’s edition the Contemporary Latin American and European artists are placed in dialogue as part of Art Projects at London Art Fair Art Projects, offering a platform for emerging galleries to showcase the freshest contemporary art from across the globe. Now in its 15th edition, the section will bring together 33 galleries from 11 countries showcasing the most stimulating and innovative contemporary art practice today. Included in Art Projects are six unique collaborations, known as Dialogues, with pairs of galleries invited to display their artists in conversation with each other.
