For the fourth time in a row, The Crystal Ship conquers Ostend together with world-famous artists. With the theme The Dictatorship of Art in mind, they make gigantic murals and fantastic art installations during the Easter holidays. Check out our interview with Bjørn van Poucke , curator and owner of the Festival, to give you more insight about this years edition.
Escif created two pieces for this years edition of the Festival. The first artwork to be revealed depicts a massive dog brilliantly titled titled “Save The Planet”.
The second creation, titled “No Border”, shows a borderless portrait of Tintin and Snowy, the famous fictional character in The Adventures of Tintin, the comics series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé.
In Escif own words ‘I’m not looking for decorative paintings, I try to wake up viewers’ minds.’ Discover the new artworks below.
