Fabio Lopez Gonzalo and Elodie Arshak from the artistic duo Dourone just created its first large format installation in Sweden with the collaboration of Kulturhotellet Helsinborg.
The new work entitled LITA 00: 00,02 is part of the theme the artist is currently developing; which deals with the consolidation and fragmentation using time as a basis in the 21st century through the female figure.
This installation was totally conceived and realized by the artist and specially created for the place. Both the structure and the 64 hand-painted 1m square panels are made of wood. The wood has an anti-moisture treatment to ensure its duration over time and has 4 layers of paints in addition to the acrylic paint of the work. It also has 170 inking points on the wall.
With the helps of 4 people, this installation was done in situ in less than 2 weeks and the work is now visible in the city of Angelholm in Sweden.
The project was made possible thanks to the artists Fabio Lopez Gonzalo and Elodie Arshak, assisted by Peter Eriksson and Timothy Avery.
