Borondo was one of the featured artists invited to UpNorth Festival (covered here) that took place in the remote village of Sulitjelma, above the Arctic Circle in Northen Norway. The Spanish artist created three stunning pieces during the event.
Photographer Henrik Haven watched him progressed in the unique location and documented his work. It took the artist 6 days to complete the 3 pieces and he specifically picked those spots once he arrived on location.
One of the pieces shown below is entitled ‘The Altar’, Borondo painted this mural as a tribute to his father, who’s been repairing churches during all of his life.
